Dear Tamarack neighbors,

Those of you who walk along the Tamarack Park trails have probably noticed that they are getting overtaken by invasive plants, especially the multiflora rose, and some remediation efforts are needed to keep the paths open. Fairfax Parks does not have the budget for managing this problem, so we are hoping to recruit some volunteers to help. On June 21 at 10:30 a.m. we plan to meet at the easement (sidewalk) entrance to the woods (next to 1726 Fox Run Ct.), and we will have members of the Fairfax Invasive Removal Alliance ([[https://firaadvocacy.com/](https://firaadvocacy.com/...)]([https://firaadvocacy.com/](https://firaadvocacy.com/...)) join us to demonstrate how to ID some invasive plants, how to best remove them using hand tools. If interested, please mark your calendar and reply to this post if you can make it.
